If you live with a dude and he never makes the first move either he isn't attracted to you in that way, or he respects your friendship too much to go that route. Does he have a girl?

Just tell him thats what you want I guarantee he will make a move. Women expect men to always be confident and strong but never think that they can be as sensitive, and scared of rejection as women are expected to be (we are all the same, our prejudices make us different but for the most part we think the same.) And like Bliss said its a new day where gender lines are being erased make the move. Hell sneak into his bed one nights, or surprise him one night, while he is in the shower go in his room get in his bed and wait for him. But don't get upset with him if your relationship turns into just a sexual relationship. If you want something more you need to tell him that flat out, have a mature conversation with him, and he will have a mature reaction to it.
