Can men and women be JUST FRIENDS

Is it me or do guys seem to have a problem being friends with girls who rejected them as lovers. For example, if a girl was friends with a guy before he tried to push up on her sexually everything seems cool, but as soon as you tell them you don't want to sleep with them, men act like they can't be friends anymore. What's up with that fellas.

there is no such thing as being just friends with men and women. If we're just friends, you're either not-attractive enough for us to bang, we are already married and in love, we think your friend is hotter and want to be around you to hang with them, or we are just being nice to get in your pants.. LOL.

I disagree with bluefin. We can be friends as long as you are both upfront with the situation. If you lead the friend on thinking that they have a chance then that will cause a problem. I have lots of male friends, and they know that if they cross the line then it can ruin the friendship. True friends will stick around no matter what the situation.

well, i had a whole mutual crush thing going on... & we flirted & talked about being in a relationship someday... but eventually i decided i no longer wanted a relationship. & for months we had drama & shit about it... & now i have no idea what he thinks about it anymore, since he doesn't try to fight me on the decision anymore... but he still tries to talk to me about sex with him. i don't know what to make of it...
